  • Tax deduction
  • Tax-deferred growth
  • Keep to age 71
Save for any goal

Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA)

Save for short-term and long-term expenses, with no tax on withdrawals.

  • Tax-free growth
  • Tax-free withdrawals
  • Keep for life

Quick tip

RRSP or TFSA

With an RRSP, your goal should be to keep your money inside the plan until you retire because you have to pay tax on withdrawals. A TFSA is more flexible because you can withdraw tax-free, and you’ll get that contribution room back the following year.
