Surrey Libraries Tree of Giving is a heartwarming annual community initiative that helps support local families and individuals in need during the holiday season. Library branches display festive “Trees of Giving” adorned with tags listing donation wishes, encouraging visitors to give gifts, food, or monetary contributions that make a real difference in the community.

Rotary Clubs of Chilliwack - Chilliwack Christmas Parade

The Chilliwack Christmas Parade is a beloved annual tradition that brings the community together to celebrate the magic of the holiday season with dazzling floats, festive lights, music, and family fun. This year, Prospera is proud to be activating and taking part in the parade with its own festive float, spreading holiday cheer and showcasing community spirit. Through Prospera’s participation, the parade will shine even brighter—bringing joy, connection, and celebration to the heart of Chilliwack.

Agassiz's Winter Night Lights

Agassiz’s Winter Night Lights is a beloved annual celebration that lights up the town with festive cheer. The event features a dazzling parade, sparkling light displays, music, and fun activities for the whole family. It’s a magical night that brings the community together to celebrate the warmth and joy of the holiday season.

Angel Tree Project

Now until December 9
Spread holiday cheer with the 14th annual Prospera Credit Union Youth Angel Tree Project! In partnership with Archway Youth Resource Centre, this initiative collects Christmas gifts to bring joy and support to local youth facing challenging times. Community members can choose from tags available at our Abbotsford and West Oaks branches, which feature personalized gift suggestions for about 70 local youth. Gift ideas include essentials like shoes, socks, grocery store gift cards, and books.

Unwrapped gifts must be returned by Tuesday, December 9th. To donate, please speak with the teams at the West Oaks or Abbotsford branches and help make the season brighter for those in need.
