    Biography


    Kara plays a critical role in our business transformation as we deliver on our vision, mission and brand promise: Local banking means more in this evolving digital world. She’s responsible for defining and enabling enterprise strategies and developing go-to-market programs and member experience-enhancing roadmaps to deepen member engagement and boost our overall brand profile.

    Joining Prospera in the summer of 2022, Kara brings a depth of local and international experience in brand management and marketing strategy, including as Head of Marketing & Communications, Global Expat at HSBC in the United Kingdom, where she oversaw brand strategy for retail, commercial, expat, wealth management and private banking divisions. She was previously Head of Customer Experience & Customer Relations at HSBC Bank Canada. Most recently, Kara served as Associate Director, Marketing & Communications at the University of British Columbia, where she led strategic planning and execution of marketing plans for UBC Sauder School of Business.
