2025 Special General Meeting (SGM)

    Join us for Prospera’s 2025 Special General Meeting (SGM), an important in-person event where eligible members will vote on a Special Resolution related to the proposed continuance and merger with Coast Capital Savings Federal Credit Union and Sunshine Coast Credit Union.

    When: Tuesday, July 8, 2025
    Time: 1 pm (doors open at 12:30 pm)
    Where: Civic Hotel, 13475 Central Avenue, Surrey, BC
    Pre-registration: June 23 to July 3

    By attending the SGM, eligible members who have not already voted will have a final opportunity to cast their vote in person. You’ll also hear directly from Prospera’s Board and management, have an opportunity to ask questions during the meeting and cast your vote (if you haven’t already voted). Be there when the results are announced and be part of this important milestone in our credit union’s future.

    Important information about registering and voting at the SGM

    • Registration runs from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm.
    • Ballots will be provided to eligible voting members during registration.
    • Once registration closes at 1:15 pm, no additional ballots will be distributed.
    • Only ballots issued at the meeting will be accepted for in-person voting on July 8.

    Please arrive on time to ensure you're able to register and receive a ballot if you have not already voted in advance.

    Can’t attend the SGM?

    Advance voting is still open until 5:00 pm on Monday, June 30.

    You can vote online at prosperavote.ca using your ballot number and password, or by scanning the QR code included in your voting package.

    You can also vote by mail using the ballot provided in your voting package, just be sure to return it in time to be received by the voting deadline (Canada Post: allow 4 business days for mailing).

    If you’ve lost or did not receive your member guide and ballot by mail, you can visit any branch to request a generic mail-in ballot. Member verification, including a signed declaration and government-issued photo ID, will be required.

    If you prefer to vote online, you can retrieve your unique ballot number and password, originally included on your mail-in ballot, by visiting a branch or calling our Member Service Centre at 1 888 440 4480.
