Daryl Hosein

As Chief Financial Officer for Coast Capital Savings Federal Credit Union and its family of brands, Daryl is responsible for treasury and capital markets, financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, and financial and regulatory reporting functions.

Daryl brings over 25 years of banking and financial services experience to his role and is recognized for fostering strong teams and leading innovative capital planning. Prior to the merger of Prospera, Coast Capital and Sunshine Coast credit unions to create a combined federal credit union, Daryl served as Coast Capital’s Chief Financial Officer. He held senior roles at CIBC in Canada and Barbados, including serving as managing director and group treasurer at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank, where he managed treasury operations across 17 countries.

Daryl holds a Bachelor of Administration from York University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Daryl serves on the board of trustees for the Credit Union Pension and Benefits Trust, chairing the Investment Committee. He is also a board member of the Vancouver Youth Choir.
