Prospera Golf Classic
Over the past 21 years, the Prospera Golf Classic has raised almost $660,000 for The Centre for Child Development. The facility provides services for children with special needs and their families for over 50 years.
The funds raised from this year’s tournament will be put toward unfunded Phase 2 building renovations and expansion. The money from past years has been used for unfunded programs including hydrotherapy, casting and splinting, eating skills (for medically fragile children) and medical translator services (more than 70 languages are spoken in our region). By supporting the Prospera Golf Classic, you are helping 2700 children with special needs in Surrey, Delta, Langley and White Rock, as well
as another 500 child victims of abuse who are being served by Sophie’s Place Child Advocacy Centre.
