What Special Olympics sports do you participate in?

Snowshoeing, track and field as well as Club Fit.

What does it mean to you to compete with Special Olympics?

It means the world. There is nothing more I dream of than showing my friends and family that I can push myself to the absolute limit and run as fast as I can.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Being on the podium to receive my medals at the 2019 Provincial Winter Games in front of friends and family in Vernon.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to get them involved?

Special Olympics is fun and exciting. It’s not about winning or losing, but about challenging yourself and putting in your best effort and trying.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

That I’m a great guy and caring friend. I’m a hard worker, conscientious and diligent. Special Olympics has given me confidence, purpose, and balance in my life.
