The support that Prospera Credit Union has provided to the KidSport Program is significant. The ability to provide financial support especially during uncharted times allows KidSport and its community chapters to continue to provide opportunities for kids to participate in organized sport. This support allows us to pursue our mission to remove the financial barriers that prevent some children from playing organized sport! Not all kids have the opportunity to be involved in sports. For those who dream of hitting a homerun, playing goal, shooting hoops, and making new friends, it's all possible through KidSport. KidSport is a community-based sports funding program that provides grants for financially disadvantaged children ages 6 to 18 to participate in amateur sports and learn valuable life lessons and skills.
KidSport and Prospera have joined forces to provide more children with opportunities to be active and get involved in organized sport. Through this partnership, more than 250 children each year can play a season of sports, giving them the opportunity to experience the positive benefits and joy of teamwork and being active.
