Arts Umbrella

Our partnership with Arts Umbrella ensures that more young people have the opportunity to access the lifelong benefits arts education can bring, in the communities they live in.

Since opening in 2012, Arts Umbrella’s two Surrey locations have been a beacon of inspiration to young people in the community. With the support of Prospera Credit Union we’ve been able to deliver life-changing visual art and theatre programs, at our facilities and in numerous local schools. These programs reach students ages 2-19 who might not otherwise have access to a high-quality arts education due to geographical, cultural, or financial barriers. Over the years, we have witnessed hundreds of young people develop not just their creative expression, but their interpersonal skills, confidence, and critical thinking abilities – all of which will be theirs forever.
