Shawn Good, MBA, ICD.D
President and Chief Executive Officer

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Prospera Credit Union, Shawn Good leads the strategic direction of British Columbia’s fourth largest credit union guided by a mission to attain financial well-being and sustainability for the credit union, its members, employees and the communities they serve. Shawn joined Prospera in 2015 from Conexus Credit Union in Saskatchewan where he was Executive Vice President of Governance and Strategy, responsible for directing corporate strategy and planning, governance, corporate policy and legal, the project management office and corporate social responsibility. A leader dedicated to innovation, Shawn has an extensive background spanning more than 19 years within the credit union industry and has been recognized nationally for his accomplishments. An entrepreneur as well as an innovator, prior to Conexus, Shawn was a founding partner of a real estate development group of companies operating in South America and a manufacturing start-up within the dental industry in Canada as well as a management consultant. Committed to continuous learning and development, Shawn holds an MBA from Queen’s University and recently received his ICD.D for corporate governance from the Rotman School of Business. He has previously attended the Banff Leadership Centre, Queen’s Executive Program and completed the Leader as a Coach program.

Diane Dou, MBA
Chief Operating Officer

Diane Dou joined Prospera in 2016, bringing with her over 16 years of financial industry experience in a variety of leadership roles including COO and Country Head of Business Performance for Retail and Wealth Management. An innovative and courageous senior business leader, Diane has a strong skill set in overall business management and operations, including steering business strategy and execution, overseeing corporate governance and driving transformation initiatives. She obtained her MBA from Simon Fraser University in 2007. Diane is one of two public directors on the Board of Directors for the BC Real Estate Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sports and Physical Activity, as well as the Three Links and Odd Fellows Care Society. In October 2015, the Canadian Board Diversity Council named Diane as one of its “2015 Canadian Diversity 50.”

 

Michael Kerdachi, CPA, CGA
Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Michael is responsible for leading Prospera's financial reporting and treasury, as well as financial forecasting and safeguarding the assets of the credit union, which includes managing the financial parameters of both capital and liquidity. Originally from South Africa, Michael brought ten years of operational, financial audit, management and analytics experience when he joined Prospera in 2004, including seven years in the Province of BC’s finance department and a year with the financial regulator, FICOM. He is also an accredited Certified General Accountant.

 

Greg Dyck
Chief Information Officer

As a member of Prospera's Senior Leadership Team, Greg's portfolio includes Information Technology, Innovation, Procurement, Facilities and the Enterprise Project Management Office. His passion for technology and innovation allow him to be a key contributor to the organizational strategy and a driver of transformational change, bridging the digital and physical delivery of Prospera’s value proposition through innovation. Greg represents Prospera as a member of the Large Credit Union Coalition (LCUC) CIO group and is board chair of the Co-operative EFT Development Association (CEDA.)

Angela Champ
Senior Vice President, People & Culture

Angela Champ joined Prospera in 2018 and brings with her over 20 years of experience that includes roles such as Vice President Human Resources & Operational Performance. A transformative business leader, Angela is adept at developing and implementing programs and policies that enable businesses to grow and profit. Her work in the Human Resources field includes helping organizations transform the human resources function from the transactional to the strategic. Angela obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia, and an MBA from Royal Roads University. She is a published author of a book for Human Resources professionals.
